I’ve ridden for most of my life. On the bike there’s only the road ahead, which makes it the best way I know to switch off after work.

IT Strategy & AI Consultant
I help leaders make clear technology decisions, and see them through.

Good decisions aren’t made in the big moments. They’re made in the ordinary ones, by pausing long enough to think clearly before acting.
Wildlife photography taught me the same thing: the shot is decided long before you press the shutter. With clients, the decision that matters most is rarely the one in the big meeting. It’s the quiet one made weeks earlier, about what problem we’re really solving. That’s why the question I ask most often isn’t about technology. It’s “What should be different a year from now, and how will we know?”
That’s the core of my work as an IT Strategy & AI Consultant. I help C-level executives and IT leaders work out where technology should take their business, and then make it happen, across banking, insurance, healthcare, manufacturing and more.
My path started with a year of physics, which left me with a lasting habit of asking how things really work. I switched to industrial engineering and management because I wanted to see what that understanding could do for a business. The timing was good: generative AI broke into the mainstream just as I started my master’s, and I spent much of it on machine learning, including a thesis on predicting financial markets. Since then I’ve worked where technology and business meet, as comfortable in a boardroom discussion as in a data model.
What drives me is how AI is changing the way businesses work. Leading clients and teams through that change is already a big part of my work, and it’s the part I want to keep growing.
From data analysis to leading client engagements.

What keeps me curious and grounded, and where I do my best thinking.
I’ve ridden for most of my life. On the bike there’s only the road ahead, which makes it the best way I know to switch off after work.
Nature photography, hiking and camping give me a calm I rarely find anywhere else. With nothing but birdsong and rushing water around me, time seems to stand still, for just a moment.
I’ve always had a soft spot for history and science, especially where the two meet. Many things today make more sense once you know where they came from, so I read a lot on both.
Nature and wildlife, mostly from the Black Forest. Most of these were taken in the quiet hours, early in the morning or late in the evening, when the light is soft and the forest belongs to the animals. Select any image to see it larger.
